Imogen Heap - A-Ha
When watching this video I found it to be really interesting and very well done considering they had a low budget to spend on this such as costumes and props, they made the most of the stuff they could get and the end product was done to a high standard
When watching it you could see that they didn't have a lot of money to spend on props or locations, they used locations that where near them for example within this shot they have used a park or some woodland, within this they have used a car in the background to light up the person. This is a good use of things people would have available to them when having a low budget, you just need to be creative.
What I have learnt from watching this video is to make sure when you are doing the editing, you do it to the pace of the music, this will allow it to flow better than if it was chopped up at random parts, also have the right type of image on the screen that reflects the part of the song, this will then allow people to understand what is going on. For example if a person was singing about skate boarding, you may have an image of them or other people skate boarding.
Also when watching this I noticed that there was a lot of low key lighting used, this may reflect what type of genre the music is or the subject the song writer has chosen.
This video gave you the impression that video was the real one. All the people within the music video played up to it, done the best they could at showing us what a boy band would be like. As it was a boy band they used high key and low key lighting.
We where introduced to all the band members, then we there was a moment where they all came together and the lights lifted to present us the boy band. When they where doing this they had to come up with a dance, this is because within this genre of boy bands they normal dance when singing, so the boys had to come up with there own dance, this worked really well within there performance
