During one of our filming sessions we had to use the green screen. We came to a conclusion that we would have to use this as when looking at footage we got, it didn't look as good as it could of been as the wall was white, it seemed to plan. But when doing it on the green screen we could change the background to whatever we wanted to, this would be beneficial for us.
During the filming on the green screen we came across some problems. These are as follows: shadow; when using the green screen we had to use lights to light up the actors, the problem that came with these as we only had two was the shadow. We should of had three (three point lighting) to over come this we had to move the lights about at different angles to allow us to get rid of the shadows as best as we could. Green screen; the green screen also had a few problems as well this was because in order to get a good quality green screen shot there couldn't be any creases in the green screen. We had to spend some time to sort this out to allow us to get good shots. Space; space was a problem a times, this was because one of the actors (me) are quite tall, therefore the wasn't a lot of room to move about in as he wouldn't fit in the frame also movement had to be limited as if you moved from a certain spot a shadow would appear due to the lighting. So we had to keep movement to a limit.
Overall the green screen was beneficial to us. We was able to get a lot done during this shoot.
